The Commish scouts the 49ers for fantasy value

Back in October of 2009 I made request to the 49ers to hold a practice in San Jose close to Novellus so I could swing by after work and scout them for fantasy value. They agreed and so I went and checked them out.

It was totally cool. I had never been to a practice before. The seats were great. It was a lot of fun. Too bad Rey couldn't go with me. He got the tickets, but had to work. Thanks Rey! Let me know when you can't go to another 49er event!

Six weeks until draft night!

It seems like only yesterday.....

Fantasy Draft Night 2009 was a blast!

The GrillMaster was doin his thang.....

while we anxiously awaited the man food.

Tracy looks very nervous as he's probably worried about his #1 pick which is only minutes away!

Jack begins his pre-draft warmups with a few 12 ounce curls to relieve the tension. He thinks to himself, "Should I get Carson Palmer?"

The draft begins...all goes quiet. You could hear a pin drop as the Commish kicks off the draft. All focus goes to the picks that will decide our team rosters. What should I get first? Quarterback? Running Back? Maybe Wide Receiver? This is very serious business...

Two hours later the draft was complete. All the decisions had been made. There was much rejoicing!

I can't wait until we can do it all again!
